Brian Aker gives the "zinger" talk about the newly announced "Drizzle". Brian highlights why he started the Drizzle project and how Drizzle is different from MySQL -- both in what has been removed from MySQL and what features Drizzle can accomodate.

Sarah MeiBrian was great! He was obviously delighted to rip out the parts of MySQL he'd always hated - I think we all have projects like that. The talk was a great case study in re-engineering
. I'm looking forward to seeing what Drizzle becomes.
